The call
Thursday afternoon. By Monday our interim director was in the building with the regulatory calendar rebuilt.
The work
Stabilise, then improve. Weeks one to two were pure continuity. Week three onwards we rebuilt the approvals chain that had caused the last three delays.
The handover
Two weeks of overlap with the permanent hire, and a written function map they didn't have before.
